It started as a normal Saturday — Shawn went bicycle shopping, there was a breakfast ride lined up, and a client project was waiting. Then an old school friend sent a message from overseas saying he was coming to Joburg and we should meet up. That was that. A week that went from Cape Town to Johannesburg and back, and all over the place in between.
