The Rig
OuBlank is a Ford Ranger XLT that shares the practical road-trip role of the other Ranger in the fleet. It carries people and gear comfortably, handles dirt roads and coastal tracks, and can be packed for a self-contained trip when the plan is to explore without setting up camp.
For camping trips, OuBlank is paired with a customised Jurgens XT 140 trailer. The trailer takes care of the camp setup, leaving the Ranger free to bring people, supplies, and the equipment needed for the route.
On The Move
The Ranger’s double-cab layout gives OuBlank a useful division between passengers and gear. On a short break, the loadbox can take the camp kit; on a longer trip, its job becomes towing the Jurgens while still carrying the practical extras that make a convoy run smoothly.
The result is a versatile setup: comfortable enough for a long day on tar, capable on the gravel and sand routes that lead to camp, and ready to explore locally after the trailer is unhitched.
