The Rig
The Discovery 3 is the fleet’s dedicated trailer-and-track setup. It is always paired with either the Conqueror Commander or the Conqueror UEV-17, creating a capable base for trips where the camp needs to travel as well as the vehicle.
This is not a standard Discovery. The build includes a winch, larger tyres, a safari roof rack, snorkel, and spotlights: equipment chosen for rougher routes, self-recovery, carrying extra gear, water crossings, and travel after dark.
Built For The Route
The larger tyres and winch give the Discovery more confidence where soft sand, rocks, or rutted tracks demand careful wheel placement and a recovery plan. The snorkel and safari roof rack add useful capability for remote travel, while the spotlights make the approach and camp setup more manageable when daylight runs short.
The Conqueror Commander and UEV-17 trailers turn that capability into a complete camp. Once either trailer is parked, the Discovery can still lead the local exploring without bringing the entire camp along.
