The Trailer
The Infanta 4x4 Enkulu 2 is the trailer that turns a remote stop into a proper base camp. It is built for family travel, combining a hard-sided cabin with a pop-up roof and slide-out sleeping space instead of relying on a tent as the main accommodation. The aluminium and polycarbonate construction contains no wood, and the cabin gives the setup a solid, enclosed feel when the weather turns or camp is far from the crowds.
The photos tell the story better than a brochure: this Enkulu has been put to work on rough country and at relaxed camp, with the side kitchen open, awning out, and rooftop tent deployed for extra sleeping space.

Space To Settle In
The Enkulu 2’s defining feature is its manual slide-out queen-size bed. Together with the insulated pop-up roof, it creates a far roomier cabin than the trailer’s travel height suggests. Infanta also equips it with a large counter that can double as a single bed for a child, so the layout is made for more than a two-person overnight stop.
At camp, the roof lifts on four 12V jacks and its windowed canvas sides provide ventilation and headroom. The kitchen, storage, and living area remain outside where camp life happens, while the enclosed cabin keeps the sleeping area separate.

Kitchen, Water & Shower
The built-in outside kitchen is arranged around a Cadac two-plate burner with grill pans, dedicated cutlery storage, and a pair of wash basins in a drawer with a folding drying rack. It is a practical camp kitchen rather than a temporary table-and-box arrangement.
A 100L built-in water tank, 12V pump, and plumbing support daily camp use. The external shower has hot and cold water, with a Hansen 14L high-pressure geyser that can run on 220V or gas. That makes the trailer self-contained for a few days away from conventional campsite facilities, subject to how the water and power are used.
Built For The Track
The Enkulu 2 measures 5.5m long, 2.05m wide, and 2.2m high, with a stated delivery weight of 1,250kg. Underneath, a 2,500kg auto-reverse braked axle works with 36-inch ten-blade leaf springs and shocks. The spare wheel lives at the rear in a lockable bracket, keeping it accessible without sacrificing interior storage.
The fitted configuration and options vary by trailer. Infanta lists a 12V charging connection from the tow vehicle as standard, while battery, solar, fridge, inverter, and awning equipment are offered in different configurations. This trailer’s camp photo shows its own expanded setup, including a side awning and rooftop tent.
